And what is the difference between them and the other countries in the Persian Gulf that leads Trump to regard some as friends and others as enemies? 🤔

You need to stop using Brave
I always use and recommend hardened Firefox + Ublock. As a search engine, I use Qwant, which is based in the EU and uses its own search engine whenever possible rather than Google, Bing, etc. And there is another reason not to recommend using Brave. Among its investors is Peter Thiel, the most controversial figure in the investment world. Search for Peter Thiel's controversial statements in your favourite search engine and you will see for yourself.

So I installed Arch Linux... Is this it?
Most of the time it is achieved with the phrase: "I use Arch, btw". 😉

not very brave
I don’t usually take the software creator’s ideology into account if it works well on my computer. However, I stopped using Brave when I found out that it’s a company funded by Peter Thiel, the founder of Palantir and one of the most toxic investors around today. The combination of Brendan Eich and Peter Thiel has now pushed me past the point where I can separate software from its creator’s ideology.

SUSE Requests openSUSE to Rebrand
SUSE has its line of business in servers and cloud computing. Opensuse has desktop users as its main asset. Not wanting the company's name to appear on the distribution is because the typical users of the two are increasingly different, as well as suspecting that Leap will not continue as SLE's 1:1 solution.
Suse's decision not to have its name on the distribution means that it will be increasingly distanced from the community distribution, which is primarily run by Suse employees, so it is the company's decisions that will shape the future of the distribution.
A company's decisions are based on the benefits of its line of business, not on the benefits of the community outside its customers. This is a statement of intent that in my opinion breaks the relationship of trust between company-community.
It is time to look for another distribution, the chameleon has focused on its profits rather than on the benefits for the community.

Donald Trump cuts all US trade with Spain over Iran war dispute
Spain has finally left behind its era of servility towards the US and is beginning to act with sovereignty and in accordance with international law. It is a pity that the political opposition in Spain is siding with the country that threatens Spain and not with the legitimate government of Spain. Patriotism means defending the interests of your country's citizens, not the interests of the country that threatens yours.

JD Vance gloats that allies are 'suffering more than US' from high gas prices
In Spain, for example, electricity prices remain low thanks to renewable energy. This guy is stupid.

The truth is that you failed to mention the distributions derived from the openSUSE project.

Ubuntu Pro subscription - should you pay to use Linux?
If you want technical support, of course you do. Just because a code is open source does not mean it should be free. Developers need to eat too. Another issue is that there are distributions such as ZorinOS that charge money for the right to use a pro version, when in reality it is the same version that you can configure yourself and that ZorinOS belongs to a company, not a user community.

Debian used to be so good. What happened!?
You can install Firefox from Mozilla's own repository. It is a luxury to have in Debian a Mozilla repository to install Firefox.

Compromised Arch User Repository (AUR) Packages, installing RAT malware
The higher the percentage of Linux usage the more likely it is that these cases will occur. Most people use Arch because of the aur repository without reading the Pkgbuilds and installing random programs from that repository that give root access to the system. Aur is a security hole in Arch and should only be used for trusted sources and programs that are widely used by the community and yet it is still a security hole for a system. When analysing this issue years ago I understood that it is better for me to have a system with a strong security configuration done by experts in the field. For me a distribution has to have these basic security tools to be considered a secure distribution: secure-boot, selinux and firewall. And along with these tools, do not install anything from external repositories. Only by fulfilling these requirements can we consider that we have a security-enforced linux distribution.

Linux Distribution "NixOS" drama: Moderation Team resigns in protest over Interference of Leadership; Elected Leader works for US Military Company, fearing alignment with US fascistic development

I’m gonna re iterate what I said about the FOSS community the first time I came across this.
As a whole FOSS has a nazi bar problem and it needs to be addressed.
That's what I think. Fascism and MAGA ideas are increasingly being introduced into FOSS projects through the leaders of those projects. The biggest example is Brave Software with Brendan Eich and Peter Thiel contributing money to Brave Software. Peter Thiel is a character who believes in a single world government using AI outside of any democracy.

Personally I'm grateful to not need 3rd party packages
Aur is probably the main reason why many people use Arch and derivatives. However, many users are unaware that aur is not an official Arch repository and that, as you say, you are the one who has to monitor the pkgbuilds of each installed aur package. Normally the most used aur packages tend to generate more confidence but that does not prevent that package to include malicious software in a version change and having root access to the system can take control of certain system services. That's why I always recommend not using Aur and that's why I've always found Manjaro to be a great distribution, as it retains packages for a few days to check them and discourages the use of aur. Any security measure is too little and that's why any security tool you can configure is advisable. In a rolling distribution where new code is constantly entering the system, it is essential to have selinux and secureboot enabled.

Nissan's Skyline Revival May Bring Back The Twin-Turbo V6, Built On A 2014 Foundation | Carscoops
The lack of originality in the designs and the reliance on nostalgia are signs that Nissan is not in the best of shape.

How happy are you with your current distro?
I am 100% happy. I use a rolling distro, secure (firewall+apparmor), stable (snapshots tested through openQA) and easily revert to a previous snapshot (snapper). Yes, I am using openSUSE Tumbleweed and in my opinion there is no rolling distro that offers all these features.

To all European Union/Europe Open Source/Linux Enthusiasts
I agree with you, but for Linux-based mobile phones to advance, pressure would need to be put on large financial institutions and instant messaging companies to allow their applications to run outside the Android ecosystem. Regarding the brands you have chosen, I think it is also important to directly support EU-based companies such as SUSE, which focus on open source and support Linux development projects such as openSUSE. As for hardware companies, there are several that specialise in distributing hardware optimised for Linux, such as Slimbook and Tuxedo, but I believe it is more important to support companies that focus their business on the development of FOSS code than companies whose business is to distribute hardware manufactured outside the EU.

Indeed, I believe that the Fediverse is a paradise island where one can escape the noise created mainly by AI bots on centralised, proprietary social networks, but many users get a dopamine rush from eliciting an emotional response on the network, and that rush is provided by Reddit's algorithms.

Dude-tier list
The distributions within the openSUSE project are, in my opinion, the most advanced and complete Linux distributions. They offer tools such as btrfs+snapper, openQA, Secure-boot, Firewall, Yast (Myrlyn+Agama), etc. as soon as the system is installed. No other Linux distribution offers all of this configured immediately after installing the system. In my opinion, the openSUSE project is at the highest level of Linux, offering solutions for most users, fixed distributions such as Leap, rolling distributions such as Tumbleweed, immutable distributions such as Kalpa, etc.
