[DEV] Shattered Pixel Dungeon v3.0.2!

Thank you for the updates 😍 I am very eager to see the planned demon halls quest, maybe the update can also have yog dzewa buff as he is very weak compared to the scorpions and eyeballs of previous floors?

But hmm I don't look forward for the planned changes on city imp quest though, I think 'progression' makes roguelikes fun, and the planned imp quest goes against this by forcing a new roguelike game within a roguelike game. It depreciates my build if I cannot use it, and it doesn't work with challenges too? If I can't use my inventory and build, I want to just skip his new quest, but then I cannot access his shop on floor 20. I wish imp quest can have better, more epic ideas like caves quest 😁

I mean if the new quest takes away your stuff temporarily for a chance of getting imp rewards, it will be like there's a slay the spire event where you'll temporarily lose your cards and items, and I feel this doesn't feel right in a roguelike as it nullifies my previous decisions and progression? The imp idea feels unenjoyable and also a risky gamble on a high floor 17, I wish skipping the imp quest will not make his shop disappear on floor 20 😅 though perhaps the vault can be fun if it's something like ExperiencedPD, adding wacky items and becoming overpowered farming upgrades in the vault

yea this quest was a simple kill quest, but forcing it to a quest without your gear depreciates my progression 😐 I want it to stay as a kill quest to get the ring easily and your idea accounts for that. Arena and boss is a cool idea but I don't want the battleground to be claustrophobic please, I hate the dwarf king

Emmm but it looks like the above idea already satisfies most of your worries 🤨 It's locked behind a completion of the game to not overwhelm newbies. Check. And unlike those painful challenges it doesn’t brutally change the game if it's an optional lategame fight

I dunno, I don't have the motivation to replay SPD when there's no hard post-game goal to conquer. I play SPD, get the amulet... and it's done. New trinkets and classes don't motivate me to replay I think? No one complained when StS or deadcells added a new postgame boss, instead they get praise and high replayability. It's the ultimate goal that will make the 'item updates' worth playing and more new players joined

IIRC the only time I revisit SPD is when they added that crystal cave boss. Now that is a tangible goal and I'll always vote for a boss update, I'm willing to put money if the boss development needs art and stuff

Yes it can be harmful.. but IMO chaotic censer is fun and I hope more trinkets can 'fire something' rather than boring passive effect that doesn't feel good like vial of blood. Chaotic censer is like a fun aura spell ability even if it sucks and I hope it's not removed

Oh, dimensional sundial is not mentioned here but I hate that too, feels like another boring passive effect and tbh I'd rather have the chaotic censer over it aha 🤭 I hope those trinkets have more favorable fun effects

Yes sir it's definitely popular and I also used it when I was learning. But now I learned that the healing seed or mageroyal is most optimal... 16 energy vs 2 energy >.> There's also hero skills, and lullaby, and I learned meat pie can solve both hunger and the damage. Maybe it's only popular as it seemed like the only solution at first eheheh.. but I think I never use feather fall anymore 😅 that price is huge
