This is also just anti-choice across the board because she was coerced.

Why do females got to be so hard to talk or flirt with?
Stop calling us "females", stop thinking that all we want is money or a "provider". Treating people with respect will take you a long way.

Can I check which communities banned me?

I read the deleted comments and there really wasn't any homophobia, silly to be banned over something like that.

Mostly smells like mushrooms/mycelium. I use a mix of soybean hulls and hardwood fuel pellets so no manure or anything stinky.

Mod was probably taking his daddies' very public divorce hard and wanted to take it out on someone.

Well, that's weird ? Where is the porn ??
Join a porn friendly instance? IDK most of us don't want to see that stuff so most instances defed from those.

Why do so many conservatives in the US bash on California all the time?
From what I can tell from up in Canada, it's a more 'liberal' leaning state according to their metric and they don't like that.

What community would you like to see more active on Lemmy?
Kind of wish the mass effect community was more active. NGL I kind of ended up hating the subreddit after awhile so no idea what to expect from folks on Lemmy but seems like it'd be better based on other communities I've joined.

People who *don't* like math, why?
I have a learning disability which affects my ability to understand math (discalculia). Its really hard to explain how it feels, but any time I do simple math in my head I can't keep track of the numbers and they are start to blink in and out. Its like having short term memory loss for the duration of the equation? Not sure if that makes sense. I can absolutely do the math, but its an uphill battle and I end up having a lot of anxiety because I think people will judge me for how long it takes. I have a lot of trouble with addition, subtraction and multiplication so, really, the very basics.
I think if I didn't have this condition I would probably really enjoy math. I didn't know about this when I was in high school so I don't know if they could have even helped me. I also had a math teacher for a couple of years who would literally throw a chair at the wall if you did something wrong or he thought you were playing stupid. So that certainly did not help the situation.

Yeah, they're pretty easy. If I had to do it over again I would start with pink oysters. They aren't as oxygen-hungry as blue oysters and they fruit just as reliably, if not more.

Why can you drive on fresh pavement immediately but if your driveway gets paved you can't use it for a week while it cures?
Where I live the driveways are normally cement and the roads are asphalt. Two different materials each with different curing times.

No, I make these up myself and they are not compostable.

I wouldn't say they are super uncommon but they are very small, I only ever see 1 fruiting at a time and they are easy to miss. I'm not sure what the range is on these but this is from northern BC.

I'm curious about the ceramics, what do you use? Like a big sauerkraut pot? I use the plastic because it's easiest to work with and with jars I feel like the substrate weight to yield ratio isn't as efficient.

Ganoderma oregonense (Oregon Reishi) in lil decorative pots
I love this, they seem to be very happy! I would be slightly worried about air quality due to the thick layer of spores that are produced on the surface of the cap. Turned the inside of my tent brown when I wasn't watching.

I am submitting these to a province wide project so I'm not doing the barcoding myself but I have watched Alan Rockefeller give a talk on doing it at home. I watched a different one a while back but this presentation looks like a good start too. I'd like to set something up at home but pretty short on time and cash at the moment.

Longer antidepressant use linked to more severe, long-lasting withdrawal symptoms, study finds
Still getting the 'brain zaps' 3 years after quitting escitalopram (which when I first quit felt like someone gripping my head and shoving it forward really roughly but now just kind of feels like a muscle spasming in my brain?). No one believed me and, no offense to anyone who takes them, but I'll never do that to myself again.

There aren't really that many deadly poisonous mushrooms in North America considering how many species we have, most we just don't know. This probably won't get you high either, haha.
