Aren’t Wii Games encrypted? I’ve never decrypted a Wii game and they all boot on Dolphin. Unless the ripper is decrypting them?
Also wasn’t there a post a while back of the Wii encryption key being found in the Dolphin code?

Asus bombards Windows 11 with christmas.exe malware-like Christmas wreath banner
Reply in thread
That won’t get rid of it unless you also manually go into the BIOS and disable the install ASUS Armoury Crate setting as explained in the article.
If you don’t do this it will automatically reinstall even on a fresh install of Windows. Some of these bloatware programs will even install without an internet connection! This absolutely ludicrously stupid feature is called WPBT and is used by lots of manufacturers. Luckily it doesn’t work on Linux (at least for now…).

Aren’t these the planes that were grounded due the multiple crashes?
That might be a reason why they don’t want them.

In my experience, pipewire is leagues ahead of pulseaudio and just works. All the issues I had with pulseaudio are resolved with pipewire and it sounds better as well with the default settings.

It does only run on Windows. This compatibility checker isn’t working correctly and is most likely detecting Wine as Windows 10 for some reason.

I wouldn't be surprised if some dumb LLM made this UI change at Microsoft
Just use third party launchers like Prism Launcher that are infinitely better.

FCC hits Verizon with $1M fine for dropping 911 calls, again • The Register
Why can’t all cell providers have an agreement where if the user dials 911 or whatever the equivalent is in their country your phone will connect to any network if your provider isn’t currently available and route the call.
Being restricted to only your network when another provider might have a cell tower nearby with full signal is ridiculous in an emergency.

Lemmy votes ARE public, should they be anonymous?
Reply in thread
Furthermore, anyone can spin up a Lemmy server if they want to see people’s votes. It’s not very hard or load the same post in kbin/mbin.

They don’t. These are reproduction cartridges and not official. Apparently these are using emulators.
