Outlook users.. native iOS App... I am out of the loop. What? Is that from Apple? Or just generally any iOS App is a native iOS App?
Did you read the article or just the awful title? There was an outage where iOS users using Exchange Online accounts with the iOS Apple mail app were unable to receive emails.
That explains a lot.
Only the awful title. It is exactly the reason I would never click on it.

Honestly anyone affected by this should just use the Outlook app.
The Apple mail and Calendar client has never worked well with Exchange, and this is probably the brightest beacon Apple could possibly shine that says its never going to work well.
