KitKat had a good life. It was the first android version I used and has a special place in my heart.

Florida may become first state to accept a ‘classical’ alternative to the SAT and ACT
I don’t see SAT/ACT going anywhere. CLT may start being accepted as an alternative, but it’s not going to be taken except by the most hardcore red schools. Even then, it just doesn’t make sense since every college OOS uses the SAT/ACT. Good on DeSantis for doing…literally nothing helpful, again.

Sadly haven’t had the same experience. There are some websites that are broken and Canvas particularly didn’t play videos well on Firefox. Also, it has been really laggy for me lately and watching videos has been laggy. There are also no tab sorting options. I love Firefox and still use it, but it’s not all great.

I was very sad to delete Apollo today
I haven’t deleted it yet. I want to support it until the end.

Using WefWef too and I’m surprised how good it is for a PWA. Only thing I miss is haptic feedback.

Just wondering, how does that affect other instances? The whole point of the fediverse is that it’s decentralized.

4 days before reddit's 3rd party app shutdown, Lemmy daily active users has skyrocketed 1400% this month

I still think that Lemmy needs to be more user-friendly before it starts to gain a lot of traction. Right now, the decentralization is an aspect that makes it so great, but it also creates a lot of pain points.

Best Android Emulator on PC in 2023?
As people said here already, I prefer Windows subsystem for Android. It’s built-in and fairly robust.

The great thing about Apollo is that you can customize the gestures.

Why is OneDrive taking up almost 900MB in iCloud backup?
Reply in thread
Didn’t realize because everything is automatically backed up at first. Took a look and turned it off after I saw it was making up so much storage. Why does the cloud storage need to backup so much onto the cloud storage? 😂

I hope it sticks. It's actually quite interesting that Google recognized that user frustration has been higher in the last month due to many subreddits being private.
