On a note regarding relationship advice, that's so fucking true and I was always being downvoted there for pointing that out. Of course that's not possible, the issue here is being aware and not caring and in some cases supporting it for convenience and selfishness.

It reminded me that if you browsed Reddit from Spain many of the ads were literal scams, like the typical fake photo of a celebrity or even the Spanish king recommending you to invest in a very fishy crypto platform.

Spanish users were complaining and reporting these ads for months but last time I checked these ads were still running.

The conclusion is that Reddit didn't even check who is running the ads and with what purpose as long as they pay them, and of course they don't give a crap if their users get scammed.
