The dumbest man alive

So what's the best one then? Communism/ socialism didn't do very hot either. Unless there's been some obscure, ancient economic system that I'm not aware of, there hasn't been a non-theoretical economic system that's been better than capitalism yet, as flawed as it is.

I get there's abundant evidence of the issues of the current system and the degenerate strategies it allows, but "capitalism bad haha" is getting stale.

This is not the way, it's better to work less hours per day than working more hours and fewer days. Productivity peaks at 6 hours, after that you're either less focused or just doing unproductive things. It's also gonna burn out harder.

That's admittedly a great point. I think my record was either 12 or 16 hours a day, but it's incredibly exceptional. Anything above 8 hours of actual, productive work is the result of high enjoyment and focus or a deadline panic mode that's not sustainable. I think setting 6 hours as a baseline and being able to tweak from there would be ideal, but setting an expectation of over 8 hours as a tradeoff for fewer days is harmful imo.

AI Is Starting to Look Like the Dot Com Bubble

Reply in thread

The thing is, after enough digging you understand that LLMs are nowhere near as smart or as advanced as most people make them to be. Sure, they can be super useful and sure, they're good enough to replace a bunch of human jobs, but rather than being the AI "once thought impossible" they're just digital parrots that make a credible impersonation of it. The real AI, now renamed AGI, is still very far.
