We want to move away from Reddit, is kbin suitable?
Pixelfed is a great image hosting service right here in the fediverse! We even have an official app in beta right now.

How can I block all Lemmygrad content? As a user can I block an instance? Are there instances that already block them?

Mastodon has a language filter feature. I’d love that here on Kbin.

In response to the disastrous Spez AMA, /r/Videos have announced that they will permanently shut down on 11th June, one day ahead of the planned blackout
I hope most of the other subs follow suit.

tying to move as far away from google as possible. recommendations?
I did the same thing recently. I went over to the iOS MacOS dark side. I paid for the proton product suite (awesome apps). The only google thing I haven't replaced is YouTube since there's no real alternative at the moment.

What about discord ?
I joined kbin, mastodon, and pixelfed while deleting my Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. I’m not ready yet to give up Discord. I love activities and being able to use their built in games to play with my mom who lives far away from me.

I didn't either. I discovered it by accident.
