TIL the Aztecs regarded childbirth as a form of battle. Women who died during childbirth were thought to rise to one of the highest heavens - the same one as for male warriors who died in battle.
What a lovely website. Welcoming colors, simple navigation, no ad infestation. Has all the early internet charm but without the hyperbole.

How is pirating software a thing?
I trust pirates more than billion or trillion dollar companies. Also, aggressive DRM such as iLok is worse than malware, so eh.

Where can I find the highest quality episodes of Mr.Bean?
Mr. Bean only exists at 576p DVD quality. It probably wasn't shot in high quality film, so no HD releases have been released.

Isn't it abandoned by now? I've switched to Thunder which is awesome and open source and I don't have to worry about such shenanigans.

Goodbye Skiff
I was using their quick aliases all the time to get free Adobe trials. Is there any alternative? Gmail's "+" aliases are detected as aliases, Skiff was unpopular enough that they hadn't blacklisted them.

Thunder is unrecognizable compared to when you first tried it. I wasn't much into it either, but it has become the best client, by far.

Nightdive Studios confirm Linux and macOS ports of System Shock are cancelled
I mean, native ports are cool and all, but are they really needed? I would assume the game runs just fine with Proton.

Awesome to hear. It has already been useful for me, just so I could move my subscriptions to another instance, because the one I'm on has been under fire lately.
