A 96-year-old federal judge is barred from hearing cases in a bitter fight over her mental fitness
America in general seems to have a massive problem with absolute geriatrics refusing to make way for the next generation. Their politicians, lawmakers, judges, all older than the hills.

LPT: Never get a tattoo in a language that you don't understand
Where I live, we get a number of used vehicles imported from Japan, and for a while it was trendy to have English slogans on vehicles.
They frequently made little sense, I imagine our ones look the same to them.

Rogue Russian pilot tried to shoot down RAF aircraft in 2022
This is genuinely terrifying that we came this close to a major escalation between the two countries.
And genuinely mind boggling the incompetence of the Russian pilots here.

It's spectacularly tone deaf to say anything positive about Hamas after they slaughtered civilians in cold blood.

Murdoch never saw it coming
Historically, people have become more conservative, not as they age, but as they become more financially secure, own their own home, and want to keep more of the fruits of their labour.
That's increasingly not happening, and we're not happy about it.

2 missing hikers are saved by rescue helicopter when they saw a SOS sign, but the sign was not made by the hikers
The body that was found was of another missing person, but he didn't have the strength to create the sign, or the tools to do so.
Meaning at least one unknown person came to grief in that area.

Meh, I haven't listened to FM in years. It's just not a feature as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, this basically sums up my experience as well. There's a real "I'm right, you're wrong, and we're going to keep at this until you agree with me" approach that some people have.
