Happy pride month!

Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding mate, and same here. I see no sense or value in those things being on display but at the same time, I do respect them because it is legal.

You do see things just as revealing in many straight spaces though, such as cheerleaders, and while not as openly sexual as some of the things one sees at Pride, to me it still looks like a bit of a double standard in that regard.

"My gripe has been more in the lines that why the fuck do you need to show the world HOW you love someone?" Because I believe in equal rights.

If a straight couple can hold hands and kiss on the park, Why would I have to hide the same behavior just because both me and my partner are of the same gender?

Additionally, for normalization and for communal support. A lot of people feel like passive support is enough, but then going into social media gives you a glimpse of how trans killers are celebrated, how Pride events are mocked, and how attending to one of them, or even being found to be gay or Trans can get you assaulted.

We need visibility if we are ever going to reach integration and freedom.

Dumb take. CICO(Calories in, calories out) is the guaranteed way to do it, but different people have different daily caloric usage and different caloric absorption rates, which is mostly dictated by genetics.

So, while genetics ARE a factor, they are no excuse for a defeatist attitude, you also don't need to act like a cunt to get your point across.

Like I said earlier "So, while genetics ARE a factor, they are no excuse for a defeatist attitude". I believe that responds to your question. I don't think it would prohibit someone from losing weight, it would just make it easier for some, harder for others, to the point where people for whom losing weight comes easy might scoff and dismiss the additional effort someone on the other group would need to do in order to obtain comparable results.

And also like I said earlier "you also don't need to act like a cunt to get your point across.", you don't need to go full confrontation mode with your questions, we can just discuss without the hostile, accusatory tone.

Ugh, casual sexism. Look at the bottom of the barrel, and judge an entire gender by the way those behave.

A lot of guys, gay or otherwise, don't think or behave like that. And by your own definition, you're also the worst. Sucks to have that terrible self esteem, but don't lump me up with your self-hating ass

What do you think of this prediction?

There is regular, for-profit business, and then there is EA/Microsoft/Amazon level for-profit.

The complete disregard for their employees, massive firings for "AI powered optimization", the use and abuse of dark pattern methods(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_pattern), are some of the things that I haven't yet head of from Steam.

Sure, ultimately Steam is a capitalist business, but it could be much, much worse.
