Lemmy app that merges comments for the same article URL?

When scrolling all it's common to see the same article posted several times, each from a different community and most with zero comments.

Is there an app that will recognise the post URLs, show that post only once in the scroll but display all the comments, perhaps with each having the community name prepended?

I usually only read the comments so there's a lot of useless scrolling if skipping zero comment posts.

Alternatively, a filter that only shows posts with comments.

Kelvinator Opal C.2000 back from the dead.

Well it's not an overly inspiring photo, but then what white good is?

Purchased some time before 2000 this fridge survived a move from the outback to the city on the back of a cattle truck, along with cattle, a Simpson top loader and many other household effects.

In March 2022 it decided to stop cooling. I was away so the missus bought an Inalto fridge - quite similar to that red one that drove Technology Connections mental.

When I got back I took the old fridge apart to see if it was the thermostat that was sick. The tip had rusted off, letting out the gas that operates the bellows in the thermostat, so ordered and fitted a new one. Success. Kept it in the shed just in case.

Now the Inalto struggles to get below 11°C, so have dragged the Kelvinator out of storage and it's back to full time duty again.

As for the Inalto, it's freezing up at the top corner of the unit and only drawing 30 watts. Will do some research, but suspect it's not fixable. At under three years old, that's an exceptionally short life.

PWAs broke again. I think removing them from Firefox was a bad idea.

Chrome and Edge make it simple to 'install' pages, so they're easy to pin to the task bar. PWAs for Firefox gives that capability to Firefox, but it's a bit brittle, and breaks easily if Firefox updates. It's broken again for me tonight and the usual 'reinstall this reinstall that' hasn't fixed it.

In my opinion Firefox took a significant backwards step when they killed that feature years ago.

I appreciate I might not be the target audience for Lemmy since I'm half Windows half Unix, and a Gmail / Keep / Calendar / Facebook / Messenger user.

Commonwealth Bank of Australia potentially limiting crypto transactions to $10,000 per month

The CBA has contacted it's customers to advise or new limits affecting "those accounts we believe to be associated with cryptocurrency exchanges" to $10,000AU per month.

This doesn't affect me since I have way way less disposable income to be playing with crypto, but it could impact some big traders.

Posted via Lemmy.world since kbin keeps crashing when I try to post from my native account.
