Do you think the guys on the titanic submarine will be rescued?
I mean, I hope they survive but I'm not holding my breath.

Fstoppers on YouTube: Printer Ink, It's a SCAM

I splurged a little while back on a Brother HLL3290CDW. A bit spender than a monochrome laser, but the image quality is fine and it lets my wife print off as many stickers as she wants without having to spend big bucks on ink every couple of weeks.

AI generated images of the 'typical' home in all 50 states, 30 biggest US cities
I couldn't find Chicago (3rd largest city in the States) or Illinois for that matter. The title is misleading.

Now that Pandaemonium is done, what are your thoughts on the raid series?
Unfortunately, my static had to take a step back due to some scheduling conflicts, so we have gotten to raid Savage yet this tier. That being said, we ran through the last set just before this set dropped.
I have really enjoyed pandemonium! It has been a ton of fun and the mechanics feel like just the right balance of challenging but absolutely doable for most folks. I think that the run when our group finally nailed the sleepo strat for P7 was one of the most satisfying experiences I've had raiding since BCoB.

Brandon Johnson Did the Impossible. Now Comes the Hard Part.
I'm excited and hopeful given Mayor Johnson's win while running a fairly grass-roots campaign.
Here's hoping he's able to deliver on most of his campaign promises. The city has been having a tough run the last few years.

Sync for Lemmy for iOS?
I would be super excited if SfL came to iOS as well.
My wife used Sync for Reddit on her phone and it was always a great experience whenever I interacted with it.

I wasn't planning on it originally, as I'm dying to pull for Kafka, but I feel like I have to.

This is very possible, and it is important to remain cognizant of this possible goal. However, I think it is ultimately our responsibility as members of the fediverse to ensure that we are making the non-Meta communities interesting and engaging.
Ultimately, if an instance does become toxic to the principles of another instance, then de federation always exists as a nuclear option. 🤷♂️

Agreed. The absolute best case would be having Meta publishing open source contributions to existing projects or making their software FOSS. However, very few corps have ever been willing to make that type of commitment.
I don't think we should be praising Meta for making Threads, but I also don't believe there is a need to actively detest it's existence. If nothing else, I hope that its compatibility with ActivityPub allows mainstream users to find some niche communities that interest them, which they may never have found otherwise.
