Newer windows machines won't even let you install non-microsoft-store programs without checking a one-time-no-way-back-box of liability. So much for being an end-user...
Edit: And without a tertiary google search, the dialogue window language is designed to make users think "other" programs are not compatible.

Your reply is disingenuous at best here.

  1. Trans people are a minority. Despite the public media attention currently, there just are not that many trans people.
  2. The minority status, as in literally not many people existing as in other groups, means trans people automatically feel more isolated, even in welcoming communities, because there are not many other trans people.
  3. Losing a large community where it is easy to connect, relate, and catch up with other people like you is awful. Just look at how many of us are here from reddit, and imagine if it were the 80s and all our parents were still anrgy at us for "Being on that %@#$ computer again! It's just a fad anyway!" Now think of that, but it's not just a hobby or a career path, it's who you are.

I mean, I kind of agree here.

I'd go full chaotic lawful if you're mentality is "not a calling".

Follow the rules and directives as given.

It also sounds like you are on the way out of nursing. If you're not passionate about it, the job will eat you alive without a second thought and you're going to start seeing more and more things that irk you until you leave.

I'm also in the process of switching out of a "selfless calling" to what I hope is a fulfilling career.

Good luck with your next steps, whatever they may be.

How many times have you been nearly hit by a car as a pedestrian or cyclist?

Years ago, when my first kid was about 2, a lady nearly ran us both over while backing up and not looking. She actually hit me, and I had to sit on her SUV's back bumper while holding my kid in the air by the arm. Should have pursued charges, but I honestly just wanted to get out of there a.s.a.p. She wasn't even going to stop and check afterwards, but I kicked her back window several times and made her get out. I'd love to see all cars dissappear and be replaced with public transit.
