Seems to me like you were expecting a movie about the making of the atom bomb, when the movie was clearly focusing on the life of the man who created it.

I went with someone who's entire knowledge of Oppenheimer was the Epic Rap Battle video and they were perfectly able to follow the entire story and the multiple location and date changes.

I would like to hear more of your thoughts on why you thought the movie was pretentious.

As for the sound, in my theater everything sounded great, maybe just slightly too loud in some scenes. Could it be just a bad setup?

Agreed 100%. I'm glad to have been here from the early days, so I have seen the amazing evolution of Memmy to what it is today. I don't know of any other devs who have done so much in so little time.

Seems weird to say this in a PS5 community, as exclusives are its major selling point, but I wish they didn't exist. I get no extra enjoyment from playing a game that other people can't due to their hardware of choice.

It definitely feels emptier, but I imagine that with time that will change. Still, I don't mind it, because that means that people here are generally more active.

I still miss some subs, but I know those will also come with time.

There's lots of awesome books like everything Cosmere, ASOIF or Dune, but I'll give a more underrated response: The Divine Cities trilogy by Robert Jackson Bennett.

Deeply character-driven story, great worldbuilding and exploration of themes such as imperialism, religious oppression and family. Each book follows a different perspective, but the trilogy weaves them together masterfully for a really emotional finale. IMO, it's one of the GOAT series now.
