As a 14-year long user, the new Fisher Price UI makes me sad :( What have they done to you, Reddit?
At first glance I thought it was youtube.
Is the old.reddit.com still usable or is that fucked up too?

New York bridge gets stuck open after getting too hot
We had a similar issue with an older bridge here in Gothenburg, Sweden. The fix was to install water sprinklers during the summer to keep the bridge from expanding too much.

It's mentioned in the linked article about Find My Device.
This is what it says
1. Locate offline devices
Locate your compatible Android phone and tablet by ringing them or viewing their location on a map in the app — even when they’re offline. And thanks to specialized Pixel hardware, Pixel 8 and 8 Pro owners will also be able to find their devices if they’re powered off or the battery is dead.

Some videos are silent for me when I’m on silent mode on my iPhone. It’s happening few and far between nowadays. Threads was showing this behaviour a few days ago.
I guess it depends on device and application.

How to distrohop!?
A way to distrohop could be a virtual machine. That way you aren't "sacrificing" your current install.
If you choose to reinstall, try to document all the changes you are doing and why. See if you can automate the changes. That way you can always get back to a desired state with minimal input on your end.
