None of you will convince me that this wasn't foreshadowing

SpaceX pretty much kept US Spaceflight alive between the time of the Space Shuttle, and... whatever comes out next. Tesla corporation has proven to the rest of the car manufacturers, and other startups, that the way of the future is not via burning fossil fuels.

Elon showed the world what a shitheel he was after that.

So, I'm pretty sure that this dialogue was written before Elon became the obvious shitheel that he is now. And, as many point out, mirror universe Elon Musk might've been even more instrumental to their world, than ours.

Michigan moves to adopt early voting; Republicans say efforts go too far - BridgeDetroit

They want it so that people in areas such as Detroit, where there are often long lines due to lack of sufficient number of voting precincts, aren't willing to spend an entire day in line to vote.

I've always lived in either farming communities or relatively wealthy areas. The longest I've ever had to wait was about 30 minutes, during Obama's re-election voting.

I can't imagine having to wait hours upon hours. The whole situation makes no freaking sense to me at all.

And then I realized that they don't have a separate voting precinct for every few hundred people in the areas that aren't as well off. They have one for many thousands of people. Instead of every church and school being a voting location, people have to go miles, and wait in insanely large lines.

And that's what the Republicans want for the areas where "certain" people are living.

I think they broke into that facility pretty easily. Why did the door open in response to La’an’s DNA? Isn’t Khan just a little kid? Can he enter and leave as he pleases? I thought he was like an experiment they are trying to keep under wraps.

Seems Khan and all the other kids are probably derived from older Noonien-Singh DNA, considering the name of the facility.

So.. La'an goes back in time to bootstrap paradox Pelia into becoming the engineer she is in the current timeline, and saves Earth's next Hitler from being killed, because without that, humanity never really gets it's shit together. And ::speculation alert!!:: maybe her leaving that gun there begins his murderous spree, so maybe she bootstrap paradoxed Khan into being the tyrant he becomes, too.

What a wild ride.

I just ... this series.. is just so consistently enjoyable. I love it.
