Those sorts of warnings / graphic images are already present on the cigarette packaging in Canada. What's new is that now the warnings will also be printed directly on each individual cigarette!

Scientists designate Canadian lake as ground-zero for the Anthropocene, Earth's new epoch
I grew up near Crawford Lake. I remember there being a little visitors centre with these horrific looking jars of preserved lamprey eels that I guess they fished out of the lake. As I recall, the lake is special because it's particularly deep and stagnant. Particulate matter settles on the bottom and remains undisturbed for thousands of years.

Bushmills: Man nailed to fence in 'sinister attack'
This was almost certainly a "punishment" carried out by loyalist paramilitaries against someone they didn't like, possibly for being a tout. I haven't been back for a few years, but Bushmills is kind of a sad place. Aside from the distillery it's mostly boarded up shopfronts painted to look like they're still occupied.

What is your favorite non-alcoholic beer?
If they'll ship to wherever you are, you should give Mash Gang a try. My personal favourite is a fruited west-coast IPA, but mostly I just like that they're constantly trying new things. Since giving up alcohol, it's the closest I've gotten to that feeling of trying a bunch of crazy craft beers and not knowing exactly what you're about to get.
