From the page: What is the reSpecialized Project? The reSpecialized Project is a community-driven project to give the Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars Role-Playing Game a fresh coat of paint, specifically concerning the Specialization Trees within the game! As of Winter 2020, Fantasy Flight Games has stopped producing content for their RPG Lines. This has dashed the community’s collective hope for a comprehensive errata, a Talent and Tree compendium book, or even a 2nd Edition. That means that the community is the only hope for fixing some of the underwhelming and poorly-designed Specialization Trees in the game. That is where we come in.
What are people's favorite non-core book classes and why? In our next campaign, I am leaning towards a Brawler (from Mr. Dragonbane himself) or going completely in a different direction with the Herbalist. Both look like they could be really fun RPs in the right campaign.
Now that the kickstarter has closed the PDFs are out, has anyone played Shadowrun Anarchy 2.0?
I am planning a campaign set in the Old Republic. This era has a ton of time in which it could be, and huge factions battling it out. What are the key moments that era in your mind?
As the article says, this could be just paperwork, or could be a 5e rev.

The game has its quirks, but our group enjoys it. Our GM has been really into it and started running it at gaming conventions.

I have been playing a fair amount of Jump Drive lately. Really enjoying it. I did notice though that it seems if you get Comet Zone out early in the first 2 or so turns really seems to predict the win.
I own, and have read some of, V1, but never ended up playing it. I have heard some good things about it and will probably back it.
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/blackbook/shadowrun-anarchy-20Open linkView original on lemmy.worldI had a chance to play this at a local convention and played with the game designer. It is a pretty fun game. It is legacy, so you need to get through the story to play with all the cards. As it says in the FAQ, all the cards are numbered, so a reset is possible, or playing with different people.
I am not getting anything out of this (except a better chance it will get fully funded, which means a better chance I will actually get the game), but as I said, I have played it and would like to again.
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rakshasa/witchesquarrelOpen linkView original on lemmy.worldNot Zero-G, but just a lighter gravity and thinner atmosphere - I know most of Star Wars takes place on planets where the gravity is roughly same as Earth, but has anyone run a session / encounter on lower gravity planet / moon / station? Did you do anything for modifiers for actions?
Sorry for the potato quality, this is a rather old picture of my shoulder.
I am in the minority in that I liked 4e's system. And I have a decent collection of 4e books, including the DS book. Has anyone here run that, or played that? If so, how did it go?
I have always liked Dark Sun, and Wastes of Chaos seems like a pretty good fit for that, especially since the group I was thinking of running it for is used to D&D 5e now. Any experiences with it out there?
I have had this game since the kickstarter, but finally got a chance to play it yesterday. It was two player, so I am not sure that is the ideal number. We played a lot of things wrong the first time through and learned a ton as we progressed.
Anyone else playing? Have you played with the Coop or 5-6 player expansions?

This is me, some videos of my early adventures in Slay the Spire. This is not watching a pro beat the heart after a thousand hours. Looking at Steam this morning, I have all of 25 hours in, at least a quarter of those are the game being open overnight. I will continue to edit and put more videos of my journey out there. This is learning the game, learning Peertube, OBS, and ShotCut all at the same time!
