movie rule

Why waste time like this? Wouldn't it be better if cinemas would use vertical screens where a popular youtuber would describe the plot of the movie in like 30 seconds while talking at 2x speed?

*Permanently Deleted*

This is one of my pet peeves - so you have a HUGE universe to work with, thousands and thousands of interresting planets, anything you can imagine. But no, because of callback$ and reference$ we're getting to the same planets over and over again, even to Tatooine which should be by its purpose in the story forgetable, boring, a planet everyone overlooks

Anon watches a romance movie

And also how often the movie is completely oblivious to that. For example it's been a while since I saw "Devil wears Prada" but if I remember right, the ending is:

Our main character has an argument with her boyfriend

Goes to a business trip in Paris

Sleeps with random guy

Returns home and makes up with her boyfriend

And the movie ends like nothing happened, she's happy, that's what's important

When a new colleague joined recently, he suggested taking more structured (scrum-like) approach. Things improved immediately.

Like I don't know how you want to call it - scrum, kanban, whatever, I don't care. But you need some structure in your team and you need some meetings where you talk about status, about looking back at things, about plans for next weeks, ...
