one advantage of a kid is eventually you stop having to clean up their poop…. I’m sure I’ll think of another one…
Kids are damn funny though. I have really enjoyed the phase where they go from looking up at us to ...reconsidering and now they basically mock us and look down on us as teenagers.
The banter is fantastic!
admittedly I did encourage them to be cheeky when little and we had a ton of fun with silly games and hallway piggy in the middle stiff which gave them a solid sense of humour and seems to have somehow included them having a read on what's 'going too far', but this been so worth it
Sure, the first 3 years are really hard, that's just the state of high dependency they come from.
Maybe some day, they might clean up your poop.
