MIT Study Finds Gas Cars Aren't Secretly Better For The Planet Than EVs, Despite What Everyone On Facebook Says

EV's are quieter when accelerating but most of the noise cars make comes from road noise and the tires at speed. Lowering speed limits reduces overall car noise!

I know what you mean with that noise, it is a little unnerving. I'm guessing it is a safety standard or something to have some sort of noise.

MIT Study Finds Gas Cars Aren't Secretly Better For The Planet Than EVs, Despite What Everyone On Facebook Says
I don't think I understand the argument against EV's for their electricity source very well. Isn't the electricity for the car being generated anyways? It'd be like saying your television is polluting worse than an ICE car or your hot tub/clothes dryer for a more power hungry example.
It takes some guy gasoline to truck gasoline to the electric pump and the powered gas station to fill your car with gasoline. Like am I missing something or are people arguing just to argue?
Unless this whole article was satire and it whooshed right over me.

Man dies mid-flight after breaking out in 'cold sweats' and losing 'liters of blood,' scaring his fellow passengers
Any idea what kind of health complication causes blood to gush from your nose and mouth? Sounds insane to watch especially when you can't leave the immediate area...

Over 2,000 shell companies have directors aged 123 years or older, Moody’s found. The oldest known human lived to 122
So do these shell companies get investigated once they see an anomaly? Or is it a case of "whoops we forgot to update our current CEO. Thanks for the reminder."

Ordinary workers ‘can’t keep up’ with mortgages, rent and bills – even with multiple jobs
I think having to label "ordinary" workers as the ones with multiple jobs should be the sign that things have gone terribly wrong

Is it really doom scrolling if it's just true?
I've always understood doom scrolling as the endless/mindless scrolling to the point of detriment, not the actual content itself.

Is there any real physical proof that Jesus christ ever existed?

Its easy to put bones together and say that it existed but there's no way to guarantee "these are certified bones of Jim the stegosaurus, religious figure"

Holy smokes this is basically the premise for Chernobyl but with a coffee shop. Great idea getting them to sign and date the work order! Can't argue their way out of that one.

Tough to drive less when the world around you discourages anything other than cars lol. DOT needs to do more than just warn congress.

3 times total misidentified as a suspect. Even pinned to a wall with a police car?! Then he still wants to keep policing, like holy moly. I'd have honestly left after the first one. I can understand sticking around if it was incidents directly involving criminals but when it's the backup that's getting me, especially more than once, I'm calling it a day.
