Many issues with this headline, but one of them is the word journalist, which implies some form of neutrality. The headline should either be a L out a journalist that writes about antifa, or a pro-facism activist. I suspect from the context (Fox) that it’s the latter.

We have to distinguish between Jack Smith who started in 2022, and was extremely unlucky with respect to court decisions, and Garland who wasted 2 years before appointing Smith.

I would say that appearing in a porn movie should not affect your life at all, whether real or fake.

Why does matter? She’s not transgender in any way, making Boeberts claims false.

What I get from this is that the most populous country in the world has essentially unliveable temperatures. And this is only the early parts of global warming. Scary times ahead.

Right the great antagonising that happened by awarding Musk government contracts and electric car subsidies. Oh how Musk suffered under Democrats.

Household plastic is essentially non-recyclable. No way is plastic waste ever sufficiently sorted by the type of plastic, or cleaned sufficiently from food rests etc. The focus should be on Reduce, Reuse, and properly dispose. That most likely means burning it. Great? No way. Better than in nature? Hell yeah. Better than shipping it to Asia for pretend recycle? Definitely.

There is a great podcast by the Daily on the firing of air traffic controllers by Reagan. There are now enormous issues because such a large group had to be hired in the 1980s which are now all retiring at the same time threatening flight safety. Long-run consequences of conservative policy.

What we have learned from 10 years of Trump is that you lose when you respond to his arguments. His entire jig is to constantly shift the focus of the debate. He wants you to talk about Biden’s age and buttery males, instead of the economy. The best thing Harris could do (and she did) was to stay on topic.

It is amazing how quickly the elite is closing ranks around the Trump government this time around. This includes essentially all major media, billionaires and even some Democrats. Completely different from the first term when we immediately saw a major resistance movement.

Realistically he will end the Ukraine war (since Ukraine has to cede land without US support), and it’s likely that investment will skyrocket (as tariffs make it too costly to import). The same will happen to inflation and inequality (but we won’t see that in the media). Let’s not even think about minorities and women. My worst fear of competently-looking facism may well be on the way.

Not to undermine the argument, but capitalism did not start in 16th century England.

Point me to a moment during the last campaign that Kamala promoted identity politics. The very most important thing we should do is to nit listen to pundits.

I find this so infuriating. How do they think this strategy gets rid of Hamas? Israel indiscriminately bombing Palestine is the best recruitment tool Hamas ever had. Why do world leaders with the best advisors money can pay espouse such nonsense. Is there anyone who seriously believes this?

Wait, is he angry that they translated the menu into English, or is he genuinely angry about the use of Spanish in a Mexican restaurant? What would a Mexican menu look like if you were not allowed to use Spanish words?

How is this not terrorism, while killing a single CEO is? The term is applied entirely arbitrarily.

Of course, climate change is one of the main drivers of future migration so this is very counterproductive.

And then 2 years pass, and they have completely who banned porn, and why it’s the mistake of Democrats.

Anybody who cares about Green policy should vote against Trump.

European here: we did not ask for your help, we do not particularly want you to bomb the houthis (or anyone in the Middle East for that matter).

I would really like this to be true. At least in my country the younger population (e.g. under 25s) is moving extreme-right instead of anti-capitalism. The amount of Andrew Tate fans that apparently do not even oppose human trafficking is insane.
