I stayed in a fancy resort with this exact set up. There’s a button that immediately frosts the glass. Still weird. But not as weird?

I lost my job to ChatGPT and was made obsolete. I was out of work for 3 months before taking a new job passing out samples at grocery stores.
THE POORLY WRITTEN SENTENCE with the typo right at at the punchline doesn’t help her case: “The contract was six months, because that's how long it'd take the AI would learn to write just like me but better, faster, and cheaper.” Yep. Better than that.

I think I’m going to cancel my Cybertruck order. Seems like quality is going to be a big issue, too.

Yelp has a wall of shame for businesses caught paying for fake reviews

Same. I remember friends who owned a small restaurant early in the Yelp days who were constantly harassed and extorted. They survived but the threat to their business was palpable.

I second Voyager. I tried Memmy and found it hard to wrangle. I wasn’t sure I’d like a Web app on my home screen but I was mistaken. It’s seamless and feels just like a native app. It’s the perfect transition for Apollo users (RIP).

Trump claims he’s never read Mein Kampf as he repeats anti-immigrant rhetoric
He doesn’t read. The question we should be asking ourselves is who is telling him to say it, and what is their true agenda?

My grandfather was an aircraft inspector for De Havilland in WWII. This is one of the notebooks he used to study for the job. He drew all the pictures.
He may have worked as an aircraft inspector but his passion was illustration.

If I dust off the old Art History learnings, the Madonna would have been painted in a way that appeared other-worldly so as to separate her from what any mere mortal would identify as human. Said differently, Mary’s boobs have to be painted in a way that don’t look like human boobs so humans 1) don’t get lusty in church and 2) retain their awe of the story and its characters and thus maintain the Christian power structure.

Why do you think you don’t? I find talent runs through families. It often manifests in different ways generation to generation, but it’s there. Maybe you just don’t see your unique talents and skill sets as on par with his, but I bet he would. 😉
