I don't think the point is that it's his fault they have crazy laws. I think it's his fault that he didn't anticipate this would be a problem. I'm sure he did ZERO due diligence. I guarantee this came as a surprise to him.

RCS should be the default. SMS is the protocol designed for old non smart cellphones.

The exact problem is that Apple DOES default to SMS outside of imessage

To be fair to FUD, it has its own much longer annoying history way before crypto.

Miss alice

Impersonation?

Hello fellow old person. 😮‍💨

Holy shit I forgot all about her! I love all these older models getting brought back up again!

Good Lord more please.

I am VERY curious why this has more down votes than up. This seems like pretty quality shit. Why?

I'm sorry. I really thought I had will make double sure next time.

This is probably a dude. He keeps stealing other people's content and posting it as if he's the chick.

Years and it was so much more stable than trying to do a version update on something like Ubuntu. Just run pacman every week or so and you're fine. Also... A manual intervention never resulted in any data loss. At the VERY worst you might need to break out chroot and do something annoying.

All of my bad experiences happened at the beginning as I was learning. And no, I would not suggest that a new arch user use it for anything important. But that's not bc of arch. It's because the user hasn't usually learned the differences between the hand holding of other distros and the dirty hands mentality to tune the engine yet.

Anyone remember her name?

Dude don't blame arch for that necessarily. Manjaro has always been shady AF. More bad press for Arch comes from that pos 'distro'. I understand sorta why the arch forums get salty when 'actually I'm on Manjaro' come up in the process of trying to help them.

Can we get a name?

I'm not sure if you're joking, but in case you're not:

Brave is not a search engine. Brave is a browser. You use browsers to interact with things like search engines.

The top three search engines that I can think of right now are Google, Bing, and Duck Duck Go.
