I got annoyed the other day at work. I work in the offices of a factory. It's 35 Celsius and a lot of hard working people are working next to large ovens and suffering from high heat. A couple of people on the office Teams channel started with comments like "given the temperature we will be organising some cold drinks and ice creams for the office staff"

I would like to see those people try and spend a day on the production lines in this heat.

Everything did. I don't know about where you are, but here the cost of going for food in a pub or restaurant is so expensive that McDonalds is still the cheapest option.

I had a McDonalds in Jakarta a few years back. It's a very different experience. They seem to price themselves in the way StarBucks does, which is opposite to what I'm used to. I prefer the local food still though.

I didn't try it but I also saw Burger King there has a rendang burger. I liked the idea of it.

Potentially neck breaking. I don't think tanks are known for good suspension and comfort.

It's good to hear you have those options. A lot of people don't.

I'm assuming they still teach the grim history in schools in the UK. They did when I went to school. I don't think I know anybody who feels proud of "the good old days" but then it's not a topic which comes up much.

He's remembered because of the war. I'm sure wherever you're from has similar figures in history, if not war ones, other significant changes which impacted people's lives and becomes a figure head of that change. Whether it be good or bad.

About 20 years ago I was flying from South Spain back to the UK, a 2 hour flight. Bored and looking out the window I see something in the distance reflecting the sun. Within seconds we passed it. It happened very fast.

Given the shape and that it had some colour on the side which I couldn't make out because it happened so fast, I can only assume it was another plane.

It was only hours later that my brain decided how close that was and how nobody said anything about it. I assume the captin must have noticed!

Cost. I can sort of see some logic to it. If you know a significant amount of drones will go down then why not make some easy picks and make them dramatic as possible. Save the good stuff for the wave of drones which count.

The scenographics does hold a big part of it. Normal people seeing something which looks significant might start to see the fight is closer to home than they realise. Kind of like counter propaganda. And it's a lot cheaper too!

I had this on the Mega drive but the artwork was different in the UK. Either that or I've lost my memory.

As was Another World. I watched a YouTube video about it. It explained what the Amiga was good at and the limitations, and how that game worked so well. Real time poly animations. It works so well.

He really is like a bad guy in a comic book movie. Freeing criminals, recruiting corrupt police, spreading fear and hatred. The beginning of a movie where the place is in criminal chaos.

Not as severe as this, but I always found it uncomfortable that the patients in medical have no privacy what so ever.

A friend of mine had a cat which had kittens. It was a few weeks when he realised, after watching one try to take a dump and fail, it didn't have an opening for it's anus. He said it was bloated and abdomen was hard. The vet said they had only heard of this and never witnessed it themselves. Thing had to be put down.
