Aonuma says Nintendo not thinking about classic style Zelda games at the moment. Does anyone think it likely they could use a third party developer again, like when Capcom made the Minish Cap ?
My guess is they would use Grezzo, since they did the remasters of Ocarina and Majora, as well as the Switch remake of Link’s Awakening.
If you’re looking for some non-Nintendo takes on old school Zelda, I would recommend Super Dungeon Maker and the Blossom Tales series.

It's not exactly the same, but you might want to check out Brigador if you love isometric tactical mech gameplay.
