Telegram founder and CEO alledges signal has backdoors, they don't provide reproduceible builds, etc.
Maybe he should focus on adding e2e encryption to the default chats and group chats instead of spreading FUD.

Microsoft says it needs games like Hi-Fi Rush the day after killing its studio
If cloud gaming ever becomes the norm, the consumer will have no power left. That’s their end game, to lock us into platforms and extract subscription and when they can’t get more subscribers they will demand higher prices and add more advertising. People who are paying for game pass, are investing in this future for gaming.

Helldivers 2 CEO: Well that's depressing

Arrowhead kind of messed up by not just implementing the PSN requirement from the start, and avoiding this confusion. It’s not like Sony suddenly made this requirement, it has been there all along.

I don’t mind ads in EA games, mostly because I will never play them.

Telegram apparently censor queer groups

Sure, but people should know they are being monitored by the Saudis, and Telegram should not be used for anything sensitive. They pretend to be a secure privacy respecting platform, but they are practicing mass surveillance and censorship.

Star Wars Outlaws' $110 and $130 editions prompt a collective sigh from potential players tired of season passes and ill-advised early access periods
I’m not buying anything from Ubisoft. If people do that, they get exactly what they deserve.. a game from Ubisoft.

Solarpunk and web3
No, web3 is pure crypto bro marketing. And is very anti solarpunk. It uses a lot of energy to keep blockchains running, and a lot of the underlying logic about trust and contracts are capitalist ideology.

I just want to play this awesome game.
Hopefully Sony will decide that PSN is not worth potentially ruining one of the most successfully live service games.

Hi i am not that big on law but why don't corpos just leave EU ?
Leaving would also leave room for competitors to grow big. The market is still there and if American companies won’t deliver other companies will.

Wii had backwards compatibility, same with Wii U. Switch couldn’t use disk so it couldn’t be. All the Gameboys had it. Super Nintendo as well. 3Ds and DS had it. Nintendo often do it.

Musk and Ramaswamy float ending remote work for federal employees and ‘large-scale firings’
Rich people are obsessed with controlling normal people lives. Like these people don’t work from home or wherever they want. This is about flexing authority and dominance.

EA boss thinks ads in triple-A games would be 'meaningful' growth driver
When was the last time EA had an idea that made things better for the customers.. you know like how companies are supposed to work. Customers pay and in exchange they get something that makes their lives a little better. But it’s always just about extracting value and giving as little as possible back.
“Here take the same reskinned soccer game, now a little bit more expensive, with ads and new bugs, and some micro transactions, because you should pay us more, because fuck you”
