Banned from [email protected] by mod who breaks the rules

I submit for your judgement, my ban from a History Photos, after the mod (a favourite around here) loses his cool and breaks almost all the sub rules and the instance general guidelines.

Arguably he also breached instance rule 1 against ableist conduct and use of slurs as the history of the word moron is quite troubled - something I've disagreed with @[email protected] on before.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moron_(psychology)

For clarity I do not support any of the states identified by the US as rogue states. Discussing motives and outcomes does not equal support.

Rules

  1. Be respectful and inclusive.
  2. No harassment, hate speech, or trolling.
  3. Foster a continuous learning environment.
  4. No genocide or atrocity denialism.
  5. Photos MUST be at LEAST 10 years old, and ideally over 20. We appreciate that we are living through events which will become history, but this is ultimately not a comm for news or current affairs, but events which have occurred some time in the past.

PM says Australia has 'ideological disagreement' with US after it reveals anti-slavery tariff

The United States is planning to impose a 12.5 per cent tariff on goods from Australia, alleging the country has failed to take action to prevent slavery and forced labour.

Anthony Albanese says any tariff on Australian exports to the US is "unjustified and inconsistent" with the free trade agreements between the two allies.

Former Australian ambassador to the US Joe Hockey says Donald Trump is convinced that tariffs are beneficial to the US.

'Like driving on bubble wrap': Residents describe mouse plague horror

A severe mouse plague is overwhelming towns north-east of Perth, with residents describing roads covered in mice and infestations in homes and businesses.

Locals and farmers say current baits are ineffective and are calling for urgent approval to use stronger rodent poisons — a bureaucratic process that is dragging on.

The local MP says in the meantime, people are leaving town.

[Pokemon Fire Red] My first Tauros was Adamant

It has Intimidate as well and decent IVs so I have taken full advantage and properly EV trained it with 252/252/4 attack/speed/special defence.

I had planned to use Snorlax or Clefairy for my normal type (fairy type isn’t in gen 3) but this catch was too perfect to pass up.

I haven’t finalised Tauros moveset yet but with Strength it one shots nearly anything that doesn’t resist it at equal level - obviously not in pvp but it would be solid there too.

This Tauros might just be the team MVP by the end of the run.

It's Our Gas - Answering your questions on taxing gas

Australia is one of the biggest gas exporters in the world but most Australians know we are not getting a fair return on the export of our gas and want that to change. In this episode, Senator David Pocock breaks down how Australia’s gas tax system works, why offshore gas companies often pay little or no royalties, and how decades of lobbying and political compromise created a system that experts say massively undercharges one of the world’s most profitable industries. From the PRRT and corporate tax loopholes to comparisons with Norway, this conversation unpacks the mechanics, the politics, and the billions of dollars at stake, while answering the biggest questions Australians have been asking online about gas companies, lobbying, windfall profits, and whether reform is actually possible. If you want a 25% tax on gas export, go to ourgas.com.au to contact your MP.
