Hunter Biden challenges Don Jr. to a cage fight in post slamming 'offensive' UFC 250 event

One of the first big civ's in SEA ( I forgot if it was the harrapans or in (one of?) the first megacity, near present day angkor wat), The king had to climb a pretty steep climb after every day of work, so if they got really old or glutonous, he couldnt use the kings house and thus not be king anymore. Obv the idea is flawed, but I kind of like the idea of a built in physical test, that would disqualify you from a position of serious power if you fail to pass it.

Mastodon actually has 407K+ more monthly users than it thought

I like Lemmy a lot, and I liked Reddit before. I never really liked Twitter, just followed some NASA accounts that told what certain probes/landers/rovers were doing. I'm interested in Mastodon because federated platforms seem to sustainably fill the gap the big 5 are trying to enlarge. What kind of content are you guys getting from there?

Lemmy was kind of jarring at first, but extensions like the universal link switcher help a lot. Any stuff like that to help onboarding Mastodon? Thx folks.

Mastodon’s founder cedes control, refuses to become next Musk or Zuckerberg

I have recently been using it more to connect with others on a new subject, but now for the first time ever on the internet since early 00's, we are all owners of it ourselves. All the great new stuff was always owned by others and frankly I'm sick of it.

I never even liked twitter. Then I followed #nature and #bloomscrolling on mastodon for a while and my home feed was a feast of beautiful pics. So now there's one use for me for microblogging. Neat! Mastodon does what it says it does and even offers 'default' instances. I'd love for some GO's to help reach that donation goal quicker, so we can all get with the program and ditch corpo social media. -Why doesn't my library host it's own peertube?? #MakeLibrariesGreatAgain
