Pokemon Legends Z-A is ‘the best-selling physical game of the year so far’ in the US

And it still looks the way it does. I love me some Pokémon but at this point ROM hacks are a far more enjoyable, reliable, and respectful experience than the new Pokémon releases.

Knowing this is a game from the largest grossing multimedia franchise of all time, we could play ignorant and act like the bare minimum is okay. Or, we can open our eyes and realize they're doing the least they can knowing the consumers are still going to buy it. Unfortunately, the market has decided on the blue pill.

This is real and actually quite interesting to look at the history of. For example, the word "Decimate" IIRC was originally defined as killing one for every ten people of a group of people. Now, its used as a term for high impact destruction.

[RaphComic] Wait, what?

It's not bugged, it's obviously for balancing reasons. You can't juice one stat too far without leveling the other. To gain intelligence quickly you need to gain more strength by reading, and to read quicker you need to gain more intelligence by lifting.

Denuvo has been removed from DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake

Great news. Might be a hot take but I don't mind the trend of denuvo at first, removed shortly after release. It secures those early launch sales from people who can't wait, allows us that won't use denuvo games to play them, and everyone who would have likely never purchased the game to experience the art with the rest of us. Of course, I'd rather just not have it ever but it's a good compromise.

That's a good one. In school they had me memorize a novel of Latin root words, which is where things can get frustrating. You take a word and piece together the meaning, only to find out the definition has changed so drastically over the years that the root words are now nonsense. Both of our examples fit this description.

Poor baby. Just this week I saw someone hit a cat in front of me and keep driving. I pulled over and tried to save it but he passed away before I got him in the car after he cut up my leg in confusion. No microchip so I gave him a proper, respectful burial. Then I came inside and let all my babies know how important they are to me.

TP-Link routers face potential U.S. ban over alleged China-related national security concerns — company "vigorously disputes" Department of Commerce's findings

The larger security risk is running ANY router with proprietary firmware. All this says is the US is okay with US companies surveiling you, just not China. It's just like with Tiktok. Suddenly because China is involved its a data security issue, even though companies like Meta syphon 1000x more data from consumers. There needs to BE legislation passed around data privacy and collection as a whole, instead of targeting any company involved with China. If it's truly such a security issue, we need it resolved for all companies in the US.
