Marvel Is "Painfully Aware" That Its Games Are Flopping, Says Insider
I had a lot of fun with gotg. A really solid game with a great story and characters that you actually cared about. Dumb action that could have been a little more complex, but it worked!

I'm about 15 hours into octopath traveler 2. its been a long time since i've played a JRPG like this one. the story and design are great so far. Getting a little bored with the grindiness of dungeons but that's the nature of things in this type of game. The amount of choices you can make as any character with their battles at any time is mind boggling, which makes boss fights really strategic but a regular fight against grunts can be tedious.

Control rules. They could make ten DLCs and I'd play all of them. The world is so interesting.

One of my summer favorites: Iced coffee + orange juice + ginger
The idea of this sounds bad initially, but I Love espresso tonics so I can definitely see this working.

Persona 6 Rumored To Be Different, Represents A Change In Direction For Series - TwistedVoxel
Have only just recently gotten into persona, but I'm very excited about being able to play 3 as well as 6.
Even when the gameplay is lacking the storylines and social connections more than make up for it!

Lake: Season's Greetings DLC, out November 15th
My favorite part of this game was the ending, when the milquetoast lumberjack who refused to open up to me chased my car down out of love and my character basically told them that they're insane. Clearly not an expectation of the devs that you'd choose that ending, but objectively the funniest.

Returnal is a blast. There's a learning curve but it is designed to make you feel very good as you build skill. Then there are tons of challenges after the main story that keep you interested.

It's excellent! I didn't play the final cut yet. First played it on PC and will probably come back to it on PS. I'm hoping to wait a little longer to forget parts of the story before I dive back in and disappoint Kim kitsuragi again.

The combat is the least interesting thing about the game. The world and story are really all of it!

Agreed, got very bored halfway through stories with how tedious everything was. Would probably be fun with friends but I couldn't even find online groups consistently.

I bought persona 5 royal after listening to the get played podcast rave about it. First playthrough took me about 85 hours, though I know some people it takes 100+ hours with all the extra royal content. It's a very big game with a lot of stuff!
Immediately jumped into p4 right after and it has really great social links and combat, although generated dungeons are not nearly as fun imo and definitely grindy.
If you like RPGs, any kind of relationship building content, or interesting stories, I think it will hook you. Not to mention the music is incredibly good and the design is very unique.

What is your favourite summertime food?
One of my favorites is really simple. Grilled or pan fried corn kernels tossed with fresh tomatoes, feta, black beans, and whatever fresh herbs feel right (cilantro is an obvious choice).

My final loop was wild. I had everything in place to do it but was freaking out the whole time about the party which had screwed me over many times before. A crazy combination of luck and good timing on my part barely got me through it - incredibly satisfying.

Thanks! I haven't heard of the zero escape series. What's it about?
At least one Danganronpa is on my wishlist. Do you have a favorite in the series?
Haven't gotten into Ace attorney. It's definitely up my alley.

Outer wilds is great! One of the areas in that game scared me more than most other games I've played too (you probably know the part).
I haven't gone back to play the dlc though!

I felt that way at some points for sure. But as someone who doesn't do many rogue likes the action felt fair for the most part and I could feel my skill improving as I played, unlike some other games.
I agree you can't just pick it up and play without dedicating some time!

Great rec. I hated that game for the first four hours and then couldn't put it down once things started clearing up a bit
