What kinds of things from reddit would you like to see Lemmy avoid as the user base grows?

I'm not gonna lie, when someone calls out about censorship and not being able to talk about trans I'm inclined to think they're not people that have interesting to say.

But your comments is exactly how we should discuss a subject, thank you

Although I think that in an enormous community like reddit, YouTube, Facebook, etc. the moderation is necessarily a bit aggressive since it takes time to analyze the real intentions. And with the army of bots, and trolls organizing, or masking their intend behind falsely neutral point of view, it's easy to start blasting.

Still, I agree that lots of mods, drunk on power or following the subreddit trend was abusing and just censoring.

Ps: sorry my comment is not really a response to this one specifically haha

Mullvad axing port forwarding, where to?

I use Proton and it pretty fast IMO even without port fowarding since I can't use it.

And it has special option that prevent tracking in the event of a warrant to get your IP and also a system to avoid streaming service blocking VPNs' addresses

My second point, if you're on Linux, don't expect all the options proposed. The Linux app is pretty bad for now. No port fowarding, no split tunneling. Just kill switch

They supposed to remake it eventually... but it's been a while

So I recommend it if your on windows or Mac.

With Linux it's usable but for the price, It's not good

That being said, you can apparently use openvpn app to use it with more options, but I hadn't have the time to try it yet.

The cli Proton is supposed to have more options but I couldn't make it work even by following the doc. I might be the problem on this one.

Link qBittorent docker container to VPN

Hey ! Sorry I didn't saw your message. I came here to explain how I solved it (just now)!

I discovered a lot of nice option in gluetun (like port forwarding)

But turns out the solution was to change the network interface in qBittorrent options from eth0 to tun0... Simple as that

Thanks for your help!

Shutter Speed on Lumix G85

Reply in thread

I do, and you're right, it was because of bracketing. I thought that this option was to set the steps of the +/- button for exposure compensation in S or A mode. I didn't think it was that, since it seems redundant with the multiple exposure option.

Anyway thanks a lot !

Anyone uses Kdenlive for filming?

I do

The last version is really nice

With sequence, multicamera, text to speach support

The support for hardware acceleration render could be better but it's getting there

Also you can't have an effect track (or at least I couldn't) which would be great

And I found the stabilization tool to be hard to use.

Other than that it's really good and allow to have a reel pro workflow, and for free !

I prefer it to Shotcut. Blender is also really nice but I think it lacks option in the video editing part. Although I didn't tried it for a long time

Everything plays with really low quality

Thanks for the response

I checked, but the issue is still there, the IPs are the same as before, as I fixed the IP of the computer on the router. The port are forwarded manually and the server is accessible from outside the network.

The limit is set to original and upload debit, limited to 11 Mbps.

I just added all the local subnetwork IP list as you said, and the option "treat IP WAN as LAN speed" was already checked.

Secure connections are set to "preferred".

Also, I'm able to access my server directly from outside through my public IP, so the forwarding should be good.

Is there a way to see if I pass through relay instead of direct local play?
