Wikipeter founded the website in 1993 when he wanted to know more about model trains without having to visit the library

My historic house has a Wikipedia page, I've tried updating it with information I know is accurate (I mean, I live here), but it was always removed. Must have a primary source that's not "individual research" like, you know, counting the bedrooms or fireplaces.

Which is what lead to me getting our city's newspaper to interview me, print several facts and stories, and now that published article is a primary source.

During this process I realized that Wikipedia is pretty goddamn serious.

The Sounds of Silence

Apparently they just let Trump talk and didn't respond for a full minute and Trump was like "anyway you're the best" and they still didn't respond and Trump's people ended the call.

The astronauts gave him the silent treatment. They could clearly hear him.

Panama Papers

Obama did a response to the film The Laundromat (which is excellent), where he said, yes this is one of the keystone problems we have, but there is not going to be a fix for it, because the people that could fix it are benefitting from it. I've never seen him quite that defeated before.

yea

See if you make a ton of money, your kids will be better than the poor people, so you've left a better world for your children.

Actual logic and I've seen it play out.

Journalist Reveals FBI Is Offering a “Bounty” for Reporting “Anti-Trump Thought”

It's funny because in the early 00s I worked for a gay rights organization and was told pretty flat out, the FBI keeps at least a list with my name on it, if not my own file (holdover from the civil rights era when they did this to all progressive groups). And then Obama came along and we thought a new era was being ushered in. And now in 2025 I run a gay nonprofit and probably have an FBI file again. Oh well, means I'm doing something right, fuck 'em.

Just like last time, Fox News will simply drop the issue before their followers hear this, and they'll forever remember it as "trans ideologist shooter."

This has happened every previous time so it's kind of pointless to be excited about it.
