First: Italian counter terrorist is one of the best in the world because at some point we had terrorist attacks from the inside, also, our mafia/ndrangheta/camorra have deep root in the population and in the government.

This is not like the “White lives matter” responses to the BLM movement. If they wanted to increase the "hate crime" or "gender crime" homicides penalties, they could have said something like "to address the feminicides we will be increasing all the hate/gender homicides penalties". The current government , as many government, has only two objective: stay on power, get re elected. Its a mix of populist and racists. They did nothing on the main points of their campaign but there is no real effective opposition. They put CBD back to illegal for example, while it was regulated and sold normally. But for average boomer this become an effective war on drugs.
