We Analyzed Millions of ChatGPT User Sessions: Visits are Down 29% since May, Programming Assistance is 30% of Use - SparkToro
I prompted ChatGPT to write and adjust a linear Python script for a repetitive task I needed to automate. It took 30 minutes versus the 6-12 hours I would have consumed if I had coded it myself.
It’s a huge force multiplier when used properly.

Why can't there be like normal forums for jobs? Like companies start a thread and people can publicly reply and discuss experiences/questions
Because companies rely on asymmetric information to their advantage. It’s why they allow a culture of not discussing pay and wages, because if you knew that your peer is getting paid more than you with less experience and time in the company, you would either demand more pay or benefits, or you will go someplace else. All companies are complicit in this.

Saying the quiet part out loud, with pride
The minimum wage in Philippines is ~$6 per day in the provincial regions (350Php). $5 per hour for 8 hours is damn well nearly a king’s ransom; equivalent to 2,200Php.

Don't plug random stuff into a computer to charge
And for fuck’s sake don’t raw dog your phone to convenient USB chargers in airplanes, airports, or other public spaces.
Yes the argument can be made that airplanes may enjoy slightly better chain-of-custody type security, but fr the number of people I see who dgaf plugging their junk into USB brothels is wild.

Can you take the lint from your dryer and make clothing?
The fibers are too short, but you could probably make a neat paper out of it.

Why does the value of things in dollars not make sense?
Put the cost of things into terms of hours you would need to work to cover its cost. On an individual basis, you know very well how to gauge an hour of your working time, and inflationary effects will become apparent when there is something you used to buy routinely and suddenly find you have to work two or three hours to cover its cost.

Don't forget to look down
Depending on when you go, there is something to be said for the number of people they allow in at one time because you can’t as easily appreciate the floor as you can the ceiling.

And theirs are based on racism
They exercise a fascinating amount of cognitive dissonance by simultaneously holding that Christianity is based on moral dictates of god–the ten commandments–yet ignore, or are conveniently excused by the New Testament, the other 603 dictates.
Their morality extends only so far as it is convenient, and then the rest are "well those morals were written for a different time". No dude, according to your moral code derived from your religious text–that's the way it's supposed to always work, and your willful ignorance of them won't get you into your concepts of paradise.
The natural result here is that anyone not 100% compliant with the dictates of the sky wizard are going to hell, or–more reasonably–it's all made up and revised as periodically needed.

September 21st, Starlink loses another 26 Satellites in one day. NOAA data from Goes Satellite missing
According to Space.com in July 2023, there were 4,487 active Starlink satellites. 26 represents just over 0.5% of the total constellation. Considering it seems like a swarm-type system, 0.5% strikes me as simply the cost of doing business.
Edit: decimals.

Is there a way to deal with crap like this yet?
Take it easy. Kbin is only a few months old, and the developer works on this in their spare time.
There are lots of optimizations to make.
