I think we've all heard a few creative and fantastic covers. This being a SoM cover I can easily think of a couple of good Stones covers SoM did. Share the covers that got your attention here. Amulet's goth rock/synth blend returns with "I am the Dark," delivering an anthemic, driving bass line in the spirit of The Sisters of Mercy, commanding female vocals and infectious guitar hooks. Produced by Christopher Hall (Stabbing Westward) and released on Distortion Productions, the track bridges classic darkwave and industrial rock. The lyrics explore depression and fear personified through a haunting vampiric character.

MaryDeath is a comic about life, death, and everything in between. The story follows a young girl named Mary who happens to have befriended Death. Why Death has chosen to take interest in Mary remains a mystery, but despite his ever dark presence Mary finds comfort in his companionship.

MaryDeath Comics was created in the 2010s by Gwen Tarpley, though Cats Cafe Comic is her main effort now. The artist transitioned recently, and when I contacted her to ask about doing the Fan Edits, she encouraged me to remove her deadname from the strips. The main reason I wanted to do the edits is bc in a couple earlier strips Mary has a goth look but eventually she gave it up after a couple episodes. But I wanted a strip in which she retained her goth look. Finally, I wanted the three-strip stories to have a vertical orientation better suited to cell-phones.
