Typing this from the RIF browser, after making my account here via the RIF browser.
Had my reddit account ~14 years, started using RIF by 2010 and have never used another mobile version of Reddit. (And not for lack of trying!)
Thank you for everything you provided to us, the users!
I've been using RIF since around 2015. I barely ever get on desktop anymore and Reddit's official mobile app has always sucked harder than a teenager on prom night. Either I will find an alternative or I will try to suck it up, use the official app for like five minutes, remember how garbage it is and simultaneously remember why I loved RIF, and then find an alternative.
I guess it's just as well. The Reddit that exists today bares very little resemblance to the website I joined all those years ago.
The great years of Lemmy, similar to those of Reddit back then, are coming soon. And you'll be here for it. :)

How do you use lemmy from rif? I used sync myself but a good friend uses rif, I'd love to pass it along if it's not super complicated.
For the first time in a long time I've gone to other platforms, SomethingAwful again after years of not using it, and here. It's for the best I think
