Well to be fair, it doesn't say exit on the sign. It just says 'you can run this way to find a white wall below this sign' - which is technically correct.

The footprints on the floor coming out of the wall makes this look like some sort secret hidden room where you’ll find an armour upgrade or something. Run up to it and hit the use button.

It must be the place 9¾ has gone to since they got ousted.

2

Why when we do fire drills we're supposed to walk and yet the sign is if a dude running and screaming?

3

Welp, time to contact their local fire department and ask when they were last inspected.

10

Probably. They told me that they would fix it.

American here, maybe you have to eat all the Haribo to open the door.

7

Well american food is unhealthy as fuck so that would probably be enough to last you for the whole month

In this case nothing since I'm fairly certain this isn't in the US. Judging by the labels which all look like German it's most likely somewhere in Germany, although there's a couple nordic countries whose language is close enough to German that it could be one of those as well.

7

You're close! "Kassa" is Austrian german for cash register (compared to German "Kasse")

2

Could it be possible someone is renting that space and the landlord refused to remove the sign

Also landlords are a pointless job and only exist to exploit fellow humans just like capitalism does

I worked at a place that had a lit emergency exit sign in a closet. This was an interior space with no windows. In an actual emergency it might be the only thing visible. Only worked there 6 months. I have a photo on an old clamshell phone but no way of getting it off.

In case of emergency, here's a lighted sign to the Haribo. Not really a bad solution to a large class of emergencies :)

3

The real infuriating bit is that the haribo stand isn't centered under the sign. Makes it kind of ambiguous.

As someone who goes into too many twitch chats, this is the first time I've seen 'bricked up' used to not mean 'erect' in a long time. Nature is healing.
