Fun fact-- IIRC his last name ("Koenig") means "king," altho I forget the language / source (Slavic I think?). [if memory serves, it's pronounced "kay-nig"]

FF2-- part of the reason I've never warmed up to "ST-TAS" very much is because Walter wasn't a part of it. IIRC, awesome-person Leonard Nimoy made a point of insisting that... George Takei(?) be included or else he wasn't going to participate. Infuriatingly for the likes of me, we still didn't get Chekov. @*(&#$
