Wikipedia's not perfect, but it's usually a good place to start. If you want to do deeper research, follow the references in the pages' citations.
Khan academy used to be great. Not sure if it still is, since I haven't used it in years.
You scared me with that "used to be"
Just didn't feel comfortable with saying it's great, what with the enshittification of everything nowadays.
But certainly worth looking into if OP wants to learn stuff online.
It's still great. I came to say the same, because it's great.
Honestly books and a library might be a good start. So many good books in a library, just pick a topic and search for a related book.
Have you tried the internet? It's pretty good for those things.
Op:
google the terms and add "before:2014" into the searchbar as well, so you dont get poisoned results

I mean, only being partially funny, but this is the web reference I check more than anything else XD
There's not going to be a one site fits all option. Search for what you want to know, find various sources and vette them. The Internet has never just had the answers. Someone looking to learn something has always had to do some work. If you want specs about thinkpads, go to Lenovo. If you want opinions about what thinkpads are a good value, then you have to watch videos or read forums of people's opinions. You just have to put in the work, just likes it's always been.
Also, I just remembered Open Culture exists. That place has everything...
YouTube
iFixit for repairing electronics. Even if it does not have your exact model, you can get good ideas from reading/watching teardowns.
Mostly the internet sucks because of ai, seo and not slop. Try the archive. Or use kagi.
