…and there were 2 Queens in England. But another one’s gone, and another one bit the dust.

OK theres has been far more than 2 queens, even if you only count queens who were the primiary rulers.

And i dont know this for a fack but it feels true, i think the UK has more drag Queens than the USA per capita 💅

Just got that was a Queen refference what you think you're a young man, hard man
Meming in the lemmy gonna take on the world someday?

There's many many queens in the USA.

(Not a dig, just a statement).

US wanted to take part in the "not my king" movement they elected their own to complain about it!

There's a 4th of July in England every year.

I'm neither a Brit nor a calendologist but I think it's somewhere at the end of June or a few days later, not sure. Hope that helps

That’s a pretty bold assumption, how did you get there?

Every day, some country in the world celebrates the day the Brits left, and I think that's just beautiful

It's actually 4/7/XX there and not 7/4/XX so they can circumvent July 4th

3

They can have a 4th of July but never a July 4th

Okay if you’re going to count things from the past then you still count past queens.

Okay, if you count all super bowls, then count every instance of fourth of July occurring.

Also, the USA has had many queens: Queen Latifah, Aretha Franklin, Madonna, Beyoncé, Dolly Parton, Mary J Blige, Mariah Carey, Oprah Winfrey, RuPaul, Carol Burnett, Harriet Tubman, Dolley Madison, Clara Barton, Mary Baker Eddy, Florence Wald, Madam C.J. Walker, Sacagawea, Sybil Ludington, Estée Lauder, Elizabeth Ardon, Margaret Rudkin, Ruth Wakefield, Martha Stewart.

There's so many fucking Queens of everything in US history.

Also 4,000 Dairy Queens.

Sacagawea was very much not from the USA, Elizabeth Arden was born Canadian, and Dolley Madison and Sybil Ludington were at least born British colonial subjects since the USA hadn't shown up yet.

Anyway Mary Baker Eddy was an odd choice.

I'm not sure if this is art from Bioshock, or slop. The bayonet is a nice touch and makes me think a human did this, but I can't tell anymore.

Bold of them to use a Canada Eagle in that pic, after wiping out almost all of their own.

Methinks No True Scotsman would miss the opportunity to dunk on the English
