Shane Gillis isn't funny. At all.
I disagree, as do millions of others. I still think he shit the bed with this clumsy bit and the subsequent pile on could have been easily avoided. He's done some hilarious sketches on SNL. And him ripping on Trump with his 'beautiful dogs' observation was class.
“Women wearing short shorts at the gym does not make them whores. It makes the men calling them whores misogynists. There’s a difference there. By the way, I’ve seen more men’s nipples at the gym than I’ve ever seen women showing their bodies off.”
I read this comment before reading the article. I thought “this sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Am I an asshole?” Then I read the quote that’s actually problematic. Yikes. Now I know to avoid Gillis.
I'm old. I do not understand the modern fashion of "appear completely naked at least from the waist down".
But I don't fucking say it like that.
Was this recently? Didn't he host last year and bombed?
If only there was an article about it to clear things up
