People arriving late to an open seating event and expecting others to move or squeeze together for them to sit where they want

It's a bit selfish, but if I take the time to show up early and get a seat I am not going to make myself uncomfortable because you feel entitled. I'll move a bit if there's room, but if half the seating area further away is open then you can sit your late ass down there.

Oh man, yeah. Should put these people in a pit to fight the people-who-leave-towels-to-reserve-seats (pwlt2rs) people.

I don't believe in the towel system. I grab them and pile them up. You either get responsible or you lose. It is part race, part King of the Hill.

I think the towel thing is fine if it's for no more than a few minutes. People do need to get up to use the bathroom or whatever. More than that? Hell nah.

One time at a movie, a friend and I stood in line before the movie to get good seats in the center where wed have a foot rest and no one in front of us. Dude came in late with his kid and wanted us to move. My friend told him to fuck off in many words loud enough for the theater to hear.

Counter point: if it's open seating but you sit at the end of a row, and not filling up from the center, you can't complain when everyone one and their grandma has to climb over you

Squeeze together? "Oh you came late? No those three seats are my personal space I want untouched. If you arrived at the same time as I did I would have done the same but not mentioned it on the Internet"

You reached the end
