But seriously though, these AI companion apps are really reminiscent of the "desktop assistant" things which never took off. Also how Microsoft is trying to push copilot directly into Windows. It's BonziBuddy all over again.

Don't put bonsai buddy in with slopware. Sure he stole your credid card number, but he was fun otherwise.
