This plaza in downtown Guadalajara, Mexico, used to be a noisy, polluted car sewer. Now it's a place for people, bikes, and life, with underground rapid transit [Before pic in description]

Car sewer is a funny euphemism.
If you want to learn another new term: when a euphemism is negative, it's a dysphemism!
Can someone explain how that bike steers? It's literally driving me insane.
They usually have a linkage on the other side, e.g. https://www.amsterdam-bicycle.com/shop/cargo-bikes/cargo-classic-long/
Ok, I see how that works! I wanna build one!
The handlebar is in the mid, it is connected with steel rods to the front wheel. Totally normal view in European cities now, these cargo bikes are very good to transport kids and a weekly shopping.
Cool! Someone else posted links to a pic of the other side and I love it, I want to make one.
We use to go there when all the roads were still either dirt or river rock. It was such a good time to be alive.
