tl;dr ICE pretended to be a Spanish-speaking buyer on FB marketplace to target my friend’s wife.
This happened this last Monday, details are in the picture. My friend’s wife is Filipino, and an American citizen. She uses her maiden name, which would sound “foreign” to the average American. That’s probably why she was targeted.
Be careful out there friends.

I don't think Republicans care. The existence of hierarchical oppression is more important to them than them personally avoiding oppression. They will try to avoid being oppressed on a personal level, just like a communist will buy commodities with money or a liberal will help people out without expecting compensation: the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. But if they don't escape, then being bycatch is a small price to pay for America being great again.
