Let's not let Republicans get away with calling this "Trump's War" and distancing the party from him and his atrocities.

Republicans control Congress, and War is an Article I power, they've supported Trump every step of the way in this.

They will pull the same shit they did post-W. Not sure what they'll cosplay as this time - calling themselves teabaggers and wearing colonial drag is long enough ago that maybe it could come around again, like fashions do.

But I bet anything it involves a lot of them calling themselves "independents" and pretending they are totally members of a party that does not even exist, like "The Tea Party", lol.

Fact that they can't say it publicly is the real thing plaguing the Republican party.

It's a natural outcome of being authoritarians. They are essentially in a cult of personality. That personality is (gag) donnie.

Texas is a big state with a lot of good reasonable people, but also a lot of vocal psycho assholes too.

I don't just hope he doesn't get elected, but I fucking hope he has a stroke

4

A non-lethal stroke would just make him more of a Republican and more appealing to Republican voters.

What is with all the “leaked” audio from this guy? Is this a campaign strategy or something?

Since conservatives are mostly RWAs (Right Wing Authoritarians) they have lined up to bootlick the leader of the party for their movement: donnie. See: Ronnie Raygun's Eleventh Commandment.

But since they know he's a fucking boat anchor when it comes to ratings, they want to give the appearance to some voters that they are not lined up behind up like good little fascists. But they know that donnie and other types of cons will punish them for showing a lick of independence, they have no other choice but to do bullshit like this.

He just talks so fucking much and is an awful person. The leaks are inevitable.

I saw shortages in Texas. I doubt there's ever been a shortage of diesel in Texas before.

100%! So this should tell voters he knows what the problem is and would do nothing to remedy it.

That's where I am. Decades ago I used to lean Republican for their fiscal conservative views, but they aren't fiscal conservative, it's all talk. They cut social programs and give it to billionaires and military contractors.

Most of their platform is hypocritical or authoritarian.

@dan1101
Thanks for the note...I'm trying to help get out the vote and urge others to do the same.
Here's a poster about our Vote Early Festival.

Oh, Ken, give yourself some credit too, you objectively shitty person/candidate.

All the economic issues are caused by him this time, the tariffs and war and lies and bs. So much money wasted and much of it to cause human suffering, it's sick. Biden didn't cause economic issues, and maga 2 was never going to help. Sadly too many people blindly try the other side, and no critical thinking about it, believe the propaganda and want to fit in their tribe so they keep doing what hurts many of them stuck in the scarcity and stress. This is history repeating itself, but they all said they don't need to learn history, and they know and feel best so don't tell them anything!
