I used to live like 5 blocks from Marcy Playground in Brooklyn, and I think it's in the same projects that Jay-Z grew up, and I've always been confused by that, like maybe the former is referring to a different Marcy Playground?
edit - I just said fuckit I'm a big boy I can do my own research, and yeah Marcy Playground were apparently referring to a place in Minneapolis. Just a coincidence.
